The advertisement relates to finances and the employment of clerks and servants. It states that the Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. and subordinates are required to deliver various statements to the offices of the Auditor of Civil Accounts before 31 May 1820. These include: statements of office allowances, with the names of company servants and European and native assistants, their allowances; pensions payable from each office; civil and military allowances drawn by covenanted servants at Bombay.
