In the letter Sadleir writes with reference to a previous letter sent to the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. , that he fears may not have arrived. Sadleir therefore repeats his request in this letter: to discontinue the part wages to the families of those servants that accompanied him in his journey through Arabia, and to send an account of his disbursements made during his mission.
