This file contains correspondence about a disagreement between the ruler of Umm al-Qawayn, Sheikh Rashid, and his brother, Naser bin Ahmad, concerning the estate of their father. The main correspondents are Khan Bahadur 'Isa ibn Abd al-Latif, the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India.
