My telegram No. 428.
Shah sent for me to-day to tell me that Mushir-ed-
Powleh this morning communicated Kis Majesty his conclusions on
various points which I discussed with him last night.
(i)* (groups omitted) he is willing to omit from
proposed proclamation the phrase, which lie wished to insert, about
Anglo-Persian Agreement being in suspense, pending its acceptance
by Parliament, and simply to say it will be submitted to that
Assembly for its approval. He is willing to allow Pinancial
Aon/iser to go on working but wishes me (group omitted) Cabinet
1ieodom uo accept or reject his recommendations or, having
accepted them, to put them into force or not, as they think
fit, before agreement is submitted to Parliament. I said that
I was willing for my part to yield this point regarding which I
felt sure that he could reach an agreement with Pinancial Adviser,
He will let Military Commission continue to prepare
oiie way for its future activities,
I asked His Majesty to beg Mushir~ed-PovcLehgwhom doubtle
he is to see again this evening, to receive Pinancial Adviser and
