Content: Enclosures no. 2-7 to a despatch from the Secret Department, Bombay [Mumbai] Castle, dated 1 February 1848. The enclosures are dated 4-20 January 1848. The enclosures consist of copies of correspondence relating to affairs in Aden. The primary correspondents are the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Aden and the Government of India.
