N ushki route, who are dependent on Garmsel
for their stocks of grain. Some caravans which
recently went from British territory to Garmsel
to purchase grain have been seized hy the
authorities, and the camels and grain con
fiscated.
A report from the Persian frontier states
that, under orders from the Deputy Governor
of Bampur, the Hakim of Khwash, assisted hy
the Muhammadzais and Bekis, raided the
flocks of Zaman Khan, Bamri, who is accused
of having wounded a Sarbaz of the Persian
Government. A severe fight is said to have
taken place, hut with what result it is not
known.
The following statistics, extracted from the
report on the Nushki trade route for the year
1904-05, show that there has been a satisfactory
increase of trade on the route :—
