to cause the arrest of the robbers who attacked the caravan from Ahwaz on 27th
May near the Marnoun bridge, Amir-i-Jang sent a verbal message (as did also tho
Deputy Governor of Julfa) on 13th June to inform Mr. Grahame that three of th!
culprits had been arrested.
(J) Meanwhile the Governor-General jointly with the Zabit of Julfa have
been reaping a fine harvest, their joint maamovrs having extorted from the nemile
