I am directed to say that the endeavours made to secure the ser

vices of a suitable Maiiomedan Assistant Surgeon holding a Govern
ment appointment having failed, the Director General, Indian Medical
Service, has been instructed to nominate a man from outside the

service for employment in Koweit. It is hoped that it will be
possible uo pass orders at an early date on the application of the
Assistant Surgeon Daudur-Rahman Khan for a transfer to India.
