It also mentions that Major D'Arcy has recommended that Lieutenant Robert Taylor should be appointed to Sir Gore Ouseley's staff in the event that William Bruce cannot get him appointed to the Bushire Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. .
