In this letter William Digges Latouche asks for Edward Galley's assistance in the recovery of items that were sent by Latouche on board a boat that was plundered at Carrack [Bandar-e Chārak], en route to Muscat. Latouche informs Galley that he has dispatched a boat to Muscat. He states that the boat will call at Bushire so that Galley can add any comments to a letter addressed to the Governor and Council at Bombay.
