Alexandrian Summary (جوامع الإسكندرانيين) of Galen's (جالينوس ; d. ca 216) De facultatibus naturalibus (Περὶ δυνάμεων φυσικῶν βιβλία γ'; في القوى الطبيعية) translated from the Greek by Ḥunayn ibn Isḥāq (حنين بن إسحق; d. 873).

Contents:

Book One (المقالة الأولى; ff. 208v-219v);

Book Two (المقالة الثانية; ff. 219v-227v);

Book Three (المقالة الثالثة; ff. 227v-239v).

Begins (f. 208v, lines 4-6):

القوى الطبيعية ثلثة أجناس منها النفسانية ومنها طبيعية

ومنها حيوانية والقوى النفسانية ثلثة أنواع فمنها حسية

ومنها حركية ومنها سياسية ...

Ends (f. 239v, lines 2-6):

... الشراب ينفذ سريعًا

ويدر اليول إذا أعين بأربع خصال أحدها ان يكون كيفية مشاكلة

موافقة والأخرى ان يكون جوهر الرطب جوهرًا لطيفًا والثالثة

ان يكون العروق واسعة وفوهاتها واسعة والرابعة ان يكون

القوة الجاذبة قوية ...
