This letter, received 6 February 1781, notes the receipt of John Beaumont's letters by the Eagle , Ranger and Yarmouth . The letter discusses the woollens conveyed on the Mercury and the Morning Star . Included is an extract (no. 47) from the Company's commands, dated 12 April 1780, appointing Daniel Draper as Governor of Bombay in the event of the death, removal or resignation of Governor William Hornby.
