The file contains correspondence between the Bahrain Petroleum Company Limited (BAPCO) representatives, the Political Agents at Bahrain, Kuwait, Sharjah, the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. and various suppliers on arrangements and statement of accounts for a Desert Locust Survey. At the beginning of the file there are also some letters requesting a survey on BAPCO's labour conditions (folios 2-4).
