Keport by the same agent. Heffirn. With the exception of the Greeks
and Armenians the inhabitants of Batoum favour the Turks. On trains runnin "
between Baku and Batoum the Georgians insist on examining papers. Ismail
Dakki (late Chief Intendh) tried to escape from Constantinople on S. S
Ljulnhal but was captured. r
Some scheme of escape, of which informant was ignorant of details had
also been apparently planned by Enver Pasha An Ottoman title used after the names of certain provincial governors, high-ranking officials and military commanders. , Jemal and Talaat. Ends. ’
