A copy of a general letter from Mocha to William Phipps, Governor of Bombay, dated 15 March 1723/4 [Old Style date 1723, New Style date 1724], signed by Robert Cowan and Francis Dickinson.
The letter covers matters including: ships which had arrived at Mocha; the sale of goods from Europe at Mocha; the procurement of coffee and other goods; the trade of the East India Company at Mocha in general, and relations with the Government of Mocha; and the accounts of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. .
It was received via the ship Prince Augustus , 1 April 1725.
