Content

A general letter from Bombay Castle to Robert Cowan, Chief, and Council at Mocha, dated 3 March 1723/4 [Old Style date 1723, New Style date 1724]. The letter reports on ships arriving at Bombay and departing from Bombay, and the state of the Company’s affairs at Gombroon [Bandar Abbas]. It also includes the strong recommendation that the Chief and factors procure as much coffee as they possibly can.

It was received via the ship London , 25 March 1725.
