A general letter from the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. to William Phipps, Governor of Bombay, signed by Robert Cowan, Charles English, and Francis Dickinson. Dated 5 May 1726.

The letter reports on matters mostly relating to the following: ships which had arrived at Mocha and the goods they had brought, and the dispatch of ship Barrington to Bombay; the attempts of the Mocha factors to sell goods from Europe and India, and the sending of goods which could not be sold at Mocha to Bombay; the price of coffee at Beetlefuckee [Bayt al Faqīh]; the trade of the East India Company in general at Mocha, and relations with the Government of Mocha; the factors of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. and their accounts (including the death of John Styles - also spelled John Style); and the sending of the general accounts of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. to Bombay.
