Content

A copy of a letter from Mocha to Charles Boone, Governor of Bombay, signed by William Phipps, Henry Albert, Thomas Rammell and Francis Dickinson, dated 19 August 1721. The letter is concerned about the Imam's policy of 'verar' on freight goods brought from Surat and the seizure of the Susanna ketch off Macula. It was received via the ship Caesar on 1 March 1722 [New Style date 1 March 1723].
