A copy of a general letter from Mocha to the Court of Directors The London-based directors of the East India Company who dealt with the daily conduct of the Company's affairs. of the East India Company, signed by Robert Cowan and Francis Dickinson, dated 12 July 1724.
The letter reports on matters mostly relating to the following: ships which had arrived at Mocha and ships dispatched from Mocha, and other shipping news; the sale of goods from Europe at Mocha; investment in coffee and other goods for export; the trade of the East India Company in general at Mocha, and relations with the Government of Mocha; factors, writers, and soldiers of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. , and their accounts, and the general Factory An East India Company trading post. accounts.
