A copy of a general letter from Mocha to the President and Council of Bombay, signed by Robert Cowan, John Gerrard, Thomas Rammell, John Style, and Francis Dickinson. It is dated 11 August 1724.
The letter reports the following: the departure from Mocha of the ships the London , the Greenwich , and the Duke of Cambridge ; the London loaded with coffee; Robert Cowan and John Styles (also spelled John Style) travelling to Bombay on the Greenwich ; the worn plate of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. being sent on the Greenwich to be reformed in Bombay; and John Sarson travelling on the Duke of Cambridge . The letter also states that the small arms of the Factory An East India Company trading post. were in need of repair, and were therefore being sent to be changed.
It was received via the ship London , 25 March 1725.
