A general letter from Mocha to the Court of Directors The London-based directors of the East India Company who dealt with the daily conduct of the Company's affairs. of the East India Company, dated 12 July 1724, signed by Robert Cowan and Francis Dickinson.
The letter reports on matters including: ships which had arrived at Mocha and departed from Mocha; the sale of goods from Europe at Mocha; the procurement of coffee and other goods for export; the trade of the East India Company at Mocha, and relations with the Government there; and factors, writers, and soldiers of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. , and the Factory An East India Company trading post. accounts.
