The type of body in question is also fitted with a
gun and suitable gun mounting, in addition to a scuttle
shield and #indscreen made of armoured plating#
We understand the gun mounting is supplied by Messrs#
Allen & Simmons Ltd#, ana presumably Messrs# Ylokers would
supply the gun and armoured plating, but before approaching
these two firms for particulars, we are also desirous of first

The volume concerns the situation on the frontier between the Kingdom of Hejaz and Nejd, Iraq, and Koweit [Kuwait], in terms of the conflict between the King of Hejaz and Nejd, Ibn Saud [‘Abd al-‘Azīz bin ‘Abd al-Raḥmān bin Fayṣal Āl Sa‘ūd], and the Akhwan [Ikhwan], (frequently described as 'rebels' or 'insurgents'), and their leader, Faisal al Dawish (and various other spellings) [Fayṣal bin Sulṭān al-Dawīsh].

The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the rear to the front of the volume. The subject 57 (Iraq-Nejd Relations) consists of sixteen volumes, IOR/L/PS/10/1234-1249. The volumes are divided into nineteen parts, with each part comprising one volume, apart from parts 4-5, 7-8, and 17-18, which each comprise a single volume.

Foliation: the foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the first folio with 1 and terminates at the last folio with 581; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. side of each folio.
