This item consists of copies of a Political Despatch from the Government of India Foreign Department to the Secretary of State for India, dated 4 August 1874, forwarding for information a copy of documents relating to ‘a piratical outrage’ committed by some members of the El-Jafferah [al Ja‘farah], a sub-tribe of the Beni-Boo Ali [Banī Bū ‘Alī] Arabs, on British protected subjects at Hillaneeah [Al Ḩallānīyah], one of the Kooria Mooria Islands [Jazā’ir Khurīyā Murīyā, or the Kuria Muria Islands].
