Men of the kilted regiments will be supplied with
service dress trousers, and in addition one pair of hose tops and one pair of garters.
(ii) Cyclists will be supplied with coats, warm, in lieu of drab greatcoats.
(iii) Motor cyclists will be supplied with cord pantaloons, coats, warm, M.S., and leather
leggings in lieu of service dress trousers, drab greatcoat and puttees. They will also receive :—

(iv) Men of the R.F.C. will be supplied with capsand pantaloons of R.F.C. pattern. instead
of service dress caps and trousers, and also with working clothes, on the special scale fixed for this
unit.
(v) Two suits of dungaree clothing will be issued to each driver and mechanic employed
on M.T. vehicles, to I.W.T. motor drivers and mechanics, and to soldiers actually engaged in
, driving, cleaning and repairing railway engines. .
(vi) Drivers of mechanically propelled vehicles will be supplied with fur undercoats at
the rate of one per driver between 1st November and 31st March.

The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the front to the rear of the volume.

Physical characteristics

Foliation: this file consists of two physical volumes. The foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the first folio of volume one (ff 1-188) and terminates at the last folio of volume two (ff 189-378); these numbers are printed and are located in the top right corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. side of each folio. The foliation sequence does not include the front and back covers of the two volumes. The sequence contains one foliation anomaly, f 308a.
