60 Fortnightly Credit Accounts and 5 °/o rebate will, after 20th January, 1918,
be given to all Presidents of Regimental Institutes, Mess Committees and Baghdad
Service Club Committees under the following conditions:—
Application should be made in writing to Officer i/c E.F. Canteens, BASRA, AMARAH,
or BAGHDAD, to participate in this scheme and the said
accompanied by :—
fa) A letter from applicant’s Commanding Officer
payment of the .account.

b) Copies, in triplicate, of the signature of the Presidents in question.
All accounts must be paid fortnightly, otherwise credit and rebate will be stopped
Rebate will only be given on orders exceeding £5, and the method of claiming •
same will be as follows :—
The Presidents drawing stores from the Canteen must send.a written authorisation
with each order. Whether cash is paid with order or credit taken, in either case, the

This is to certify that (" P R.I, 1st Blankshires,” or “ P.M.C., Mess,” or
P.B S.C.C., Club) has this day purchased stores to the value of Rs
Ans from the E F. Canteen at on which 5°/o rebate will be refunded
at Depot on presentation of this voucher within fourteen days.

No claims for breakages will be entertained unless the goods are examined before
leay ing the Canteen, but all the goods that have deteriorated, or are unfit for consumption,
will be exchanged.
In order to facilitate E.F Canteen bookkeeping, payments on account cannot be
taken, and individual invoices should be settled.—Q-2113. /
61. Approval is given for the issue to units and formations having motor vehicles
on charge of one tin of metal polish per vehicle per month.
Metal polish will not be issued for motor cycles.

62. The provisions of the annexure to General Routine Order No. 679, of 1917, are
