1807. Under Army Order 183 of 1916, approval is granted for change of colour of
the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal. A free
issue of 3 inches of medal ribbon is authorised to each man in possession of the above
medals. Indents should be submitted on the Ordnance Department in the usual
manner, and supply will be made as the stores become available.

1808. With reference to General Routine Order No. 1767, dated 22nd November,
1916. Amend first line as follows:—Delete Indian Field Ambulances, substitute Field
Ambulances on Indian Establishment.
1809. In continuation of General Routine Order No. 1605 dated 6th October, 1916,
all A T Carts required in replacement of unserviceable Mess or Maltese Carts, will be
provided from the S. and T Company of the formation to which the unit belongs.
These carts will remain on charge of the S. and T. Company, and will be issue' in the
same way as transport for 1st and 2nd Line.
