with the exigencies of field service, as owing to the scarcity and cost ot p v
present supplies are difficult to meet.
Demands for typewriting machines are becoming very frequent and all concerne
are informed that indents for these machines should be made only when consiue e
absolute necessity.

The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the front to the rear of the volume.

Physical characteristics

Foliation: this file consists of two physical volumes. The foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the first folio of volume one (ff 1-188) and terminates at the last folio of volume two (ff 189-378); these numbers are printed and are located in the top right corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. side of each folio.
