TEMPORARY
1127. Reference Force Routine Order No. 631, dated 23rd April, 1916, it should
be clearly understood that officers who have been temporarily promoted in accordance
with above order will revert to their permanent rank so soon as the permanent
incumbents return to duty, or other senior officers join for duty. Officers Commanding
units must give the earliest information on the subject to the Assistant Adjutant
General, 3rd Echelon, General Headquarters, in order that the necessary orders may
be issued for the information of the Divisional Disbursing Officer, I.E.F. “D.”
