With reference to the correspondence ending with my
letter No. S.192/110/26 forwarding reports dated 27th April,
1919, I have the honour to state for the information of the
Government of India that Dr. M. K. Pascoe left Basrah for
Bo'Tbay on May 11 th . Copies of his remaining reports (No. 13
and 14) are in the Press and will be submitted as soon as
printed.
2, Dr. PaBOos 1 s investigations have been of the greatest
practical value and have been carried out with a complete
&tsence of. i. r lotion or arouDle of any sort. This Adminis
tration is greatly indebted to the Government of India for
having oeen good enough to make his services available and
tile great importance at this juncture of accurate geological

to make his services available again during the coming cold
weather.

The successor to the Court of Directors. ; the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Baghdad; officers of the Imperial Mineral Resources Bureau; and officers from the Petroleum Department.
The volume includes a divider which gives the subject number, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references by year. This is placed at the back of the correspondence.
