Approval is given to proposal to break up Divisional Headquarters Cavalry
Division and to reorganise the three brigades as self-contained units including
a proportion of Divisional troops.
The Divisional Commander may remain as Inspector of Cavalry and
Cavalry Adviser with a small staff.

Continuation X.-7629, March 30th (Diary No. 25112).
Dunsterville reported on Match 30tb that the arrival of Bicharakoff at
Kasvin had produced an improvement in the situation tnere. Second party of
Dunsterville’s force consisting of 14 officers and 11 other ranks left Kerman-
shah for Hamadan on March 28th; 20 rifles Hants Regiment reached Hamafen
on March 29th.
