Collection of short chapters and sections on various astrological topics.

This first of these texts is numbered 5 (ه) in the present collection.

Contents:

(1) Chapter on the applications of the planets one to another in whatever sign (باب في الاتصالات [!] الكواكب بعضها ببعض في أي برج كان, ff. 50v-68r);

  • Section One: Mixtures of the planets with Saturn (الفصل الأول في ممازجات الكواكب بزحل, ff. 50v-52v);
  • Section Two: Mixtures of the planets with Jupiter (الفصل الثاني في ممازجات الكواكب بالمشتري, ff. 52v-54v);
  • Section Three: Mixtures of the planets with Mars (الفصل الثالث في ممازجات الكواكب بالمريخ , ff. 54v-55v);
  • Section Four: Mixtures of the Moon with the Sun (الفصل الرابع في ممازجات القمر بالشمس , ff. 55v-56r);
  • Section Five: Mixtures of the planets with Venus (الفصل الخامس في ممازجات الكواكب بالزهرة , f. 56r);
  • Section Six: Mixtures of the Moon with Mercury (الفصل السادس في ممازجات القمر بعطارد , ff. 56r-56v);

(2) Collection of sections on the conditions of the planets and related topics (ff. 56v-61v)

  • Section on the exaltations of the Planets (فصل في أشراف الكواكب, ff. 56v-57v);
  • Section on the falls of the planets (فصل في هبوطات الكواكب, ff. 57v-58r);
  • Section on the conditions of the planets with the head [i.e., the ascending lunar node] (فصل في أحوال الكواكب مع الرأس, ff. 58r-58v);
  • Section on the conditions of the planets with the tail [i.e., the descending lunar node] (فصل في أحوال الكواكب مع الذنب, ff. 58v-59r);
  • Section on the conditions of the planets when they are rising (فصل في أحوال الكواكب عند طلوعها, ff. 59r-60r);
  • Section on the conditions of the planets when they are retrogressing (فصل في أحوال الكواكب عند رجوعاتها, ff. 60r-60v);
  • Section on the conditions of the planets when they are progressing (فصل في أحوال الكواكب عند استقاماتها, f. 60v);
  • Section on the apogees and perigees of the planets (فصل في أوجات الكواكب والحضيضها, f. 61r);
  • Section in which the falls and perigees of the planets are discussed (فصل يذكر فيه هبوط الكواكب وحضيضها, f. 61v);

(3) Elections according to the arrival of the Moon in the twelve signs, and what praises its actions and what hates it (الاختيارات بحسب حلول القمر في البروج الاثنى عشر وما يحمد فعله وما يكره, ff. 62r-66r);

(4) Table on palmomancy, or twitch divination, with title 'Twitches of the Limbs and their interpretation from [the teachings of] Jaʻfar al-Ṣādiq' (اختلاجات العضاء وتفسيرها عن جعفر الصادق عليه السلام, ff. 66v-67r);

(5) Section on knowing how long each planet stands in each sign (فصل في معرفة كل كوكب كم يقيم في كل برج, f. 67v);

(6) The good fortune of the planets (سعود الكواكب, f. 68r).

اتصال المشتري بزحل من تسديس أو تثليث

في أي برج كان يدل على حسن حال المشايخ والفلاحين

وطيبة قلوب العبيد والخدم وأهل الجبال ورخص

الطعام وقوة الأنبات ...
