5500 grenades No. 23 Mark II majority of which are No. 23 M. type also
.000 dischargers No. 36 grenade and 46,000 sets of components for conversion
if No. 23 grenade with cartridges.
Can supply a further 20,000 grenades No. 23 M. with 50,000 or more rods
,nd cartridges if these still required.

It is represented by Armenian delegation in Paris that 18,000 Armenian
■efugees at Bagubagh have written to them that they are debilitated by
climate and severely suffering from epidemics, and that they wish to be
moved, to Van if that town is occupied and failing that to Hamadan, Enzeli,
Aleppo, Adana or Constantinople, as a provisional measure, Delegation suggest
transfer vifi Hamadan to Salmas where climate would be better and they would
be near Van. Refugees state that they include 2,500 men with much good
training who could act as escort on journey. Please let me have your observa
tions by telegraph.
