With reference to our 79438-S. D. 2, July 4th (Diary No. 58062). You
diould calculate your War reserves of Ordnance Stores, and clothing for initial
jutfit on the mobilization Store Tables and scales of clothing, applicable to
four theatre and for maintenance on your actual War experience. A War
deserve Schedule should be prepared by you in two parts. First part to
nclude:— (a) initial B,egimental Equipment of Units which have been broken
ip and would have to be re-formed on remobilization, assuming that personnel
sent to you at any time from any place to bring your Units and formations
ip to War Establishment would be sent fully clothed armed and accoutred.
b) Stores which are required for initial accommodation of whole force
md preparation of Defences.
Part 2 to include Reserves of Material Clothing and Stores for main-
icnance of whole force in the field for six months. Only essential articles,
which would not be forthcoming in sufficient quantity at any time from your
normal six months’ stock should be included in this Schedule. When ready
a copy of this Schedule should be sent to this Office for covering approval.
Demand to complete Schedule should be submitted through Alexandria in
the usual manner. Should any articles, which are required for this Schedule
have been reported for disposal, steps should be taken to withdraw them before
demands are submitted.

Your 2-2954 of 9th (Diary No. 59375). If 800 Light Draught suitable
for Signal Draught field kitchens, etc., would like 200 soon as possible. If
these 200 prove suitable for Indian requirements will then take remaining 600.
