The Secretary, War Office, informed the General Officer Commanrling-in-Chief in Mesopotamia,
Constantinople, Egypt and Italy, that in the near future their forces would be considerably reduced
and he stated the principles on which reorganisation necessitated by the reduction should be
carried out.
