My 70907 (Dy. No. 92896), November 14th, and your X.-3767, November
Ilth (]3y. No. 90996). Two companies are apparently being withdrawn by
yon from Krasnovodsk to Baku. In view of the situation in Trans-Caspia, this
does not seem advisable and was not contemplated by us. Please telegraph
what action you are taking. The detachment to the East of Krasnovodsk
should remain under the orders of Malleson, who has been ordered to remain
for the present in Merv.
