decided that existing Central power station at Basra will meet requirements and
no further extension are now necessary. If any extensions for Baghdad power
station become necessary when policy with regards to Railway Workshop and
Cantonments has been decided definitely they will be reconsidered and necessary
plant redemanded. All demands on Director of Works telegram No. W.-2596
(By. No. 58786), dated July 23rd, W.-3071 (Dy. No. 73702), dated 13th
September, and W.-3303 (Dy. No. 81F65), dated October 17th, may therefore be
cancelled.
