The Baku delegates have represented that sure^information has been ob
tained that the inhabitants of Mussulman villages in Erivan region are being
massacred by Andranik and help of the Allies is requested to put an end to
these Armenian atrocities. These allegations I consider to be probably true,
but, except to investigate them by mission shortly, being sent to Andranik. I
can do nothing in the matter.

It has been arranged with Egypt that the majority of prisoners should
go to them owing to the difficulties of transport between Nisibin and our rail
head.
My officer has already arrived at Aleppo and I have been in communica
tion with him by using prisoner signallers on the Turkish landline. There are
now en route to Aleppo from the Nisibin district.
