Tour telegram, February 10th. 10684 (Q. M. G. M. T.) Vehicles actually
arrived for the ten unmobilized Ford van companies are twenty cars,
twenty workshop lorries, forty store lorries, seventy motor cycles, fifteen
Crossley lorries. Have offered release fourteen workshop and twenty-eight
store lorries ; see my telegram 27th January, 0-830 (Diary No. 7530) and
can release forty motor vehieies of which thirteen have already been sent
to Bushirei No (opinion of ?) shipment of 1300 vans. Of these 500 are
required as reinforcements and have asked for balance to he disposed
of by Secretary, W^ar Office, London. All M T. Companies remaining in this
country will be brought up to 100 per cent, efficiency from available vehicles.
Policy of disposal of remainder has been asked for in my telegram February
7th, X-3C4 (Diary No. 10186).
