with cooking oil will be utilised as the oil is cleared. Tin plates of the follow

Basrah electrical installation.
So as to economise overseas coal tonnage, approximately estimated 9,000
tons each year, adopt oil fuel for all boilers as oil fuel boilers you have sent
last year for Basrah and now erected at Baghdad have proved more simple
than was anticipated.
Cancel if possible chain grate stokers ordered for Bhopal boilers in my
telegram 10th January, and supply following. Oil fuel burners and pumps
and accessories including ample supplies of piping, valves, etc., for 8 boilers,
viz., 2 from Jammu Kashmir, each 1,426 square feet, heating surface2 ty 0 ^ 1
Manockjee Pelet Mills, Bombay, each 1,966 square feet. 2 from Bhopal State
each 2,255 square feet all Babcocks and 2 Stirling hoilors from Lahore.
Supply all necessary English firebricks and fireclay with 50 per cent,
spare, also 100 new tubes each 18 feet for Babcock boilers. Please telegraph
as early as possible probable date expect to be able to supply. If you can
supply essential portions immediately we may he able to defer use of Stirling
boilers until oil fuel gear could be fitted, if it is not I must erect them wit
chain grate stoker, as at present, and change over to oil fuel later when it is
practicable to lay boilers off again.
