by him, Khalil had asked that the Turkish 46th Division should stand fast at Mosul.

The General Officer Commanding, Force £ ‘ D,” reported information obtained from an Agent of a wire
sent by Khalil to Faikenhayn reporting that the question of food supply of 6th Turkish army was
very grave and giving particulars of serious wastage by sickness and death in the 6th Army and
14th Divisions during November, and proposing that the 6th Army took over the 2nd Army Line
of Communication personnel to provide it with food and other supplies.
