Summary of events.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “ D,” forwarded information that on 25th September a message of
greeting was addressed to Mosul for Niedermeyer which indicated that he was either expected there
shortly or was there now.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “ D,” stated that the Transportation Committee had made no
recommendations regarding the holding up of vessels with Inland Water Transport, material awaiting dis
charge at Inland Water Transport whaif.
The Inspector General of Communications, Basrah, forwarded an explanation regarding the recent unsatis
