I have found it necessary to increase the hospital accommodation owing
to the growth of the force. . This I have done by expanding existing hospital
accommodation where possible, but I still find the number of beds available
does not leave sufficient margin of safety,
I have therefore been compelled to ask for an Indian General Hospital
equipped for 1,000 beds. It has been found that the personnel of a 500 bedded
Indian General Hospital, plus 2 sections of 100 beds each, is sufficient for
such a hospital.
