you please say approximately when Madras Corps referred to in your 50061
dated 26tb July, may be expected. I ask this because it is now reported that
we must choose between delaying reinforcements needed or increasing shortage
of labour at the base. Even the approximate date will enable me to decide
what solution of the problem will be accompanied by the least inconvenience.
