telegiam P. S.-lil (_Z>y. JSo. 8/254), to suggest that state of Basrah supplies
clue to unloading difficulties. I purposely cabled you, reference my telegram
16424, dated October 25th {Dy. JSo 8/846), my proposals to send supplies from
■kgypt presuming you would at once inform me if these shipments were not
required. Can reply be given now to my enquiry as to what stocks are kept
reacly lor shipment and also as to what supplies are in “ Akbar,” “ Korana,”
B arturnu “ Vamin” and “ Jeddah,” Presume this information must be
readily obtainable.
