extra staff and medical personnel from India, and if so, to what extent ?

On March 12th the following was received from Maurice :—
Begins. (1) 2 Germans and 1 Syrian, representing themselves to be British
subjects sent to say England foregoes all (groups apparently omitted), are in
Syria with Entente passports.
(2) Jemal refuses to spare for other fronts any troops.
(3) Stores and munitions have been withdrawn to Jerusalem from
Bir Saba. . x *
(4) To replace Turkish troops sent to Mesopotamia, 4 tram loads ox
troops were despatched on 4th March from Berlin to Constantinople. Ends.
