The General Officer Commanding, Eppt, stated that he had received reliable information that the
1st Regiment of the 53rd Division (probably 161st Regiment) would be despatched to reinforce the
6th Army.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “ D,” detailed the alterations in the details of his pro
posed reorganisation of Field Ambulances necessitated by the change in the disposal of the 13th
Division.

It was suggested to the General Officer Commanding, Force “D,” that partly trained men should come
to India. from Home to complete their training in depots and that reinforcements should be sent
from India and not direct from Home.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “D,” reported that a Turkish detachment of all arms was
located at Fallujah, and that there was no sign of Ajaimi’s camp within a ten-mile radius of
Samawah.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “ D,” gave more names of Officers Commanding, Turkish
regiments.
The General Officer Commanding, Force “ D,” reported that reliable information stated that the Euphrates
detached force arrived at Fallujah on 15th March, that a line Hit-Tekrit-Kirkuk was under con
struction, that the Turks at Mosul were considering the possibilities of flooding Baghdad and the
General Officer Commanding, 6th Army, was at Kasr-i-Shirin on 16th March though General Head-
quarters was apparently remaining at Samarrah.
