Cth group is composed of 5 battalions, 4,000 Kurds and 2 squadrons, viz., in the
Diza Rowanduz section 3 battalions and 1,000 Kurds making up Rowanduz
composite regiment formed from reserves of the 36th and 35th Divisions and
completed from the gendarmerie of Mosul and Kirkuk. Two unidentified
squadrons 3,000 Kurds and 2 frontier and volunteer battalions are in the
Sakiz section. The 7th group consists of 4 unidentified squadrons 1,000 irre
gulars and 8 battalions, viz., 2 of the 5th Regiment, one each of 141st, 44th and

were between Kharput and Erzingan about 8 miscellaneous and reserve gender-
merie battalions. Note by War Office to the above. The 37th Division has

and that they have absorbed the 22nd Regiment of the 8th Division, which divi
sion is thought to be in the 5th group and to have absorbed the 17th Regiment.
On April 29th the 9th Division was at Mardin. The 15th Division arrived at
Erzingan on the 15th Aprilf ?) and the 11th Division left Erzingan on 26th
April (?).
