Cossacks at the Camp of the Vali of Pusht-i-Kuh. Vice-Consul, Kazvin,

• Tigris Line .—It is reported by Gorringe that the situation is
quiet but there is an indication of a continued withdrawal by the Turks.
Encampments of hostile Arabs which have recently been to the south of our
positions on the left bank of the Hai are being moved to the right bank. There
is activity on the part of enemy aeroplanes and to-day eleven casualties by
bombs were caused by them m the 3rd Division. Lines of Communication .—
Ut the Cossack patrol which came to Aligharbi three officers have arrived at
Basrah.
