In continuation of my 131-78-0. of May 14th (Dy. No. 54234). For
week commencing March 21st, the following are the changes in the distribution
of the troops :—
Tigris Corps. —'7th Division add 16th Cavalry less 2 squadrons. 13th
Division add 1 battery 55th Brigade. 6th Cavalry Brigade delete 16th Cavlary
less 2 squadrons and add en route from Nasiriyah 33rd Cavalry less 1 squadron.
Corps Troops .—Delete 2nd Bajputs and 23rd Mountain Battery.
Ali Substitute 2nd B.ajputs for 97th Infantry now en route to
Basrah, and substitute 23rd Mountain Battery less 2 sections deleting battery
55th Brigade.
Mudelil .—Substitute section 23rd Mountain Battery deleting battery
56th Brigade.
Amarah. —Add 1 battery 56th Brigade.
Nasiriyah .—Delete 1 squadron 33rd Cavalry and amend detachment
Volunteer Battery to six 15-pounder guns and one 5" post gun.
Addressed India, repeated London.

ments in Force “ D” before taking over appointment as D. M. S. In circum
stances Embarkation, Bombay, has been directed to arrange for your onward
journey to Basrah as soon as possible after your arrival. Acknowledge.
