Reference paragraph 2. In exchange for three British regular battalions
requiring rest and reorganisation, we can send you three territorial battalions
from India. We can send now from here two battalions, and the third reliev
ing battalion would be despatched as soon as the two battalions thus relieved
arrive in India.
